Professional Experience
Member (partner) in charge of audit and attest services specializing in audit, attest and tax services to the affordable housing, not for profit, and housing authority industry.

Max is a former HUD multifamily program specialist with 25 years in public accounting.

He is a former member of the AICPA’s Governmental Accounting & Auditing Committee (two terms), and the AICPA’s Nonprofit committee (one term).

Max has authored numerous continuing education courses for the AICPA (both seminar and self-study – courses on HUD multifamily, HUD-regulated lenders, Public and Indian Housing Authorities, and RD programs (formerly FmHA programs). Max is the lead author of the Guide to HUD Audits published by Practitioner’s Publishing Company, a Guide which is used by more than 90% of the CPA
